Year 1ED tried hard not to be put off by the rainy weather today! We made sure that we had our raincoats on and hoods up and set off to explore Valley Gardens. Some of the class found shelter underneath a horse chestnut tree and managed to have a go at some tree rubbings using wax crayons. We had fun spotting a few worms and sang the chant from ‘Superworm’ by Julia Donaldson, which is the book we have been using as a hook in Literacy. Thank you to those parents who were able to come along and help!
